I realized something recently, after attending an event in September.

There are 7.5 billion people on this planet, and there are more than 27 million entrepreneurs in the United States alone.

But if you start to listen, you’ll notice that there are only a few key messages that are being shared about how to be a successful entrepreneur.

Primarily, I see three main schools of thought:
1. Be authentic, be yourself, the rest will follow. Your vibe attracts your tribe.
2. Hustle your ass off, and then hustle some more. In order to succeed, you must work, work, work.
3. Manifest the shit out of your dreams. If you’re not succeeding, it’s a mindset issue.

Let me put a disclaimer here that I do not believe any of these are wrong, simply that I see three different ways to go about the entrepreneurial life.

My point is, that it’s OKAY to have the same message as someone else. If there really are only three messages (gosh, even if there were 100 messages), there will be overlap. It’s inevitable.

It’s when you bring you to the table, and showcase your message in your own way, it will resonate with the right people, your tribe. And even if it’s the same message as Jane Doe from that other Facebook group, the way you deliver it and the way you use your experiences and vulnerability to highlight and teach that message? It will resonate with different people that how Jane Doe’s message will.

What are your thoughts on this? What have you noticed about entrepreneurs and messaging? Do you see similarities? Are there more messages I missed?
